St Giles House
Ashley Wood Farm
St Giles is an exquisite country house in Wimborne St Giles, about half an hour west of Salisbury, which has been lovingly restored by the current Lord and lady Shaftesbury, Nick and Dinah Ashley-Cooper. The house resonates romance and grandeur and sits in an extensive estate which is a dream to share for any dream occasion.
Ashley Wood Farm is a beautiful, secluded, self-contained spot, nestling in 10,000 acres of parkland, just outside of Tisbury, Wiltshire and a stone’s throw from The Beckford Arms at Fonthill Gifford. It’s run by the equally beautiful Bea and Ralph who we’ve known for many years. It’s a great spot for a more DIY wedding, very relaxed and hugely photogenic.
Barford Park Farm, sits out on the road between Downton and Alderbury. It’s a working farm, run by the legendary Minette Batters, who in her spare time works as deputy president of the NFU. It’s a really fun, versatile venue in the heart of farming land, often surrounded by grazing beef cattle and great views across the adjacent orchards and fields.
We’ve had a soft spot for Longford barn for nearly 30 years, long before it became an exciting wedding venue. It was transformed by Harry and Sonja a few years ago, and has hosted a number of great events, some of which we have had the pleasure to cater. It’s a stress-free venue for us to work at, particularly as it’s only 30 yards from our front door
